The Web-1 Hosting support team has noticed a growing number of ISPs are blocking outbound SMTP connections.  Unfortunately this is not much that we can do about this.

We have devised two work arounds, but they do not work in all cases.

1. Set your email client to use SSL for your outbound SMTP server and change the SMTP server port number to 465.
2. If #1 does not work, try setting your email client to use SSL for your outbound SMTP server and change the SMTP server port number to 2525.

If you continue to have problems sending email after trying the above two solutions, please contact our support team and we will try help you work out a solution.  Note, in same cases there is no other option but to use the SMTP servers provided by your ISP.  If you opt to use your ISP's servers, in most cases you will be able to send mail as "you@yourdomain.com" but in some very rare cases even this is prohibited.
